I know why people ask me these questions on a regular basis: When I first started Dementia By Day, I struggled to find anyone who did anything similar to what I wanted to do. And I’m not just talking about dementia consulting.

Just about every consultant or coach I found only worked with B2C (business-to-consumer) clients, so while their advice was generally good, it wasn’t nearly as specific as I needed.

If I did manage to find someone who worked B2B (business-to-business) it was a consultant who worked with other small agencies. There I was, just me myself and I, pitching to companies with hundreds (if not thousands) of employees.

I had to build the roadmap as I went.

As an entrepreneur, it drives me absolutely wild when I see people online bragging about their “businesses” and offering to “coach” others…all without any real honesty or proof that they’re actually successful.

I’m all about honesty and I’m all about a good story. So here’s mine.
